Object of desire

OMG... just a little bit obsessed with these.  ASOS - I love thee.

Meanwhile... I keep meaning to find the time to post, but a little recap of the last 2 weeks.  Spent some crazy time in Basel at the Baselworld jewellery and watch fair, turned 31, went to Paris for a photography tour of the Marais, cashed in on some me time at the cowshed spa at Shoreditch house and I ended the weekend just gone at a roller disco in Wigan!  One of these days, I'll become a better blogger and actually post about these experiences.  If anyone finds some spare hours in the day, throw them my way!

How the leopard got it spots!

I'm seriously in love with these!  Bets on them coming back into my size are probably slim to none, but I can dream yeah!?

New Shoes

I've been on the hunt for new summer sandals for ages and finally found them in Peacocks of all places!  There is always the danger though with cheap shoes that they will shred your feet to pieces, but I wore them on Saturday night and walked all the way home from Balham in them and there isn't a blister in sight!

Perfect colour combos

I have an obsession to admit!  I love red shoes.  I have made my way through a number over the years and they have all been very dear to my heart.  My first pair were a pair of towering red leather wedges that were purchased at great expense whilst I was an intern in New York City, I wore them until they could be worn no more and was very sad to see them leave me for shoe heaven.

My next pair were bought in a favourite shop of mine in NYC - Loehmanns, a store similar to TK Maxx whilst on holiday there in 2003.  This pair were from Miu Miu and and I still dream about them as if they were some urban shoe myth, once again they were worn until they were no longer presentable, probably because I pounded the streets of London come rain or shine in them. My current pair are not quite so upmarket, they are from Next and are a pair of perfect Mary-Janes and alas I think this will be their last summer.  I'm constantly on the look out for a new pair, but haven't seen anything that comes close to replacing them at the moment.

So today whilst catching up on my reader I came across this post on Easy Fashion's blog and I fell in love, not just with the most perfect red shoes, but also the purple socks.   They are just meant to be together and I love the girl's look.  I'm now keen to head out to the shops asap and find myself something in a purple and red combo!

Birthday Treat!

I can while away hours on Net-A-Porter, it's a real guilty pleasure!  This week I spotted the below... I love them...I even went so far as going into the Burberry shop on Bond St, so I could view them in the flesh and try them on!  I can't afford them unfortunately, boring costs, such as repairs to the building I live in and car insurance seem to be taking over my finances at the moment!  But a girl can dream can't she?  Maybe I can tempt O to buy them for me as a birthday treat!  I'm already planning my outfits around them...!
